So I have to share. I had given a negative review. Which was deserved. But I gave the place a second chance and after the experience I decided to delete my review and post this one. I have been in Alaska for two weeks. Tried many many different places to eat. None have deserved a second visit. If you are looking for good company and absolutely great food give this place a try!! You won’t be disappointed! I have purposely ordered something differ t each time here. There are a couple of bartenders I would rather not have. But the rest of the staff is exceptional in their jobs.

Walking in you're greeted by beautiful welcoming bartenders. Lovable long-tenured staff who make the Blue Fox ambiance feel relaxed and welcoming. Dive bar meets delicious food menu / with daily specials. Karaoke, live music, pool/darts, and TVs for sports. Large bar top, and table service available. The oldest bar in all of Anchorage some say...?

Very nice vibe on a Saturday night. Food is good and nice beer selection. Big enough to not feel cramped. Will be back.

One of my favorite places in Anchorage!! This woman owned and run establishment always makes me feel comfortable and safe! The bartenders always look out for me and after 20 years in the industry myself, it is awesome to see that kind of support. I absolutely love the vending machine with cigarettes and the taxidermy! Every social event I've attended there has always been kind and inviting and I just love this place! But shhhh. Don't tell your friends unless you're going to be cool here too 😁 tip your bartenders, they deserve it!

Best dive bar in town and with great music too. Good little crowd of locals in here in the evening and after work. I stopped in for wings and a salad last night, and to listen to open mic night. Best food presentation I have had in a long time. The server, Kayla, offered to toss my salad, but I declined (I like to pick through it) she gave me a funny look after though. She’s still a sweetheart though! Jess is a hoot too!

This isn't a fancy cocktail lounge or exclusive steakhouse but I love everything about it. Their food is excellent, classic bar fair, their drinks are good and their bartenders are friendly. If you show up when they are really busy I think you miss out on part of what makes them special because you can't get the same level of attention you do when it's just a handful of people around the bar also the service at those busy times is somewhat slower and less attentive, they are just busy.

Best grilled cheese & bacon sandwich with picante taco soup imaginable!! And bottomless soft iced tea! I was in heaven. Bartender and cook were friendly but not hovering and the locals were fun! Nice neighborhood pub atmosphere. I’ll be back when I’m in Anchorage again!
